undo mfsadd command

Help! I accidentially performed the wrong msfadd command.

I executed 'mfsadd -x /dev/hdc /dev/hdb' and married my existing TIVO A: to my new larger A: drive. I created a new larger A: drive, went to increase the capacity and accidentially executed this command instead of 'mfsadd -x /dev/hdc'. Now my new A: and existing A: continually reboot the TIVO at the welcome message.

Is there anyway to undo this? I want to keep my existing A: and all its recordings intact and try the upgrade again.

Thanks

Did you make a backup copy of your A drive? You should be able to use that to go back and then start over. Of course the backup will have to have the recordings as well.

Jim, I didn't make a backup, I don't have access to a FAT32 drive, and besides I was very careful until I executed the wrong mfsadd command and accidentially married my original A: to a new A:

Now you need to download a Backup-image to restore.
Let me know your Model # and i point you in the right direction.
Or, you could just stop by my House and pick one up.
I have most Tivo-Images in stock.(free, of course)
You don't live that far away from me.
:)

Deja-vue, thanks for the offer but I got one last night.

Before I completely give up and restore from an image I want to try what I can to undo the mess and hopefully get back my recordings. However, all this is looking unlikely.

BTW: I was down in Long Beach last night, I go sailing there. So had I requested an image earlier yesterday I could have taken you up on your offer.
