Recording problems

Here's my dilemia.. I had to download an image for my Tivo, and restore it. Which I did to my new 120gb harddrive, I then did the MfsAdd to expand the size of the 120gb and the original 60gb harddrive. Put the drives in the unit, booted up, sees all the new space. Ran the Guided setup... good so far.
Went to manually record a show, says it will record it, but no red light, and doesn't start recording. Setup some programs to record in To Do List... skipped first 3, didn't record them, then it recorded the next one, said it recorded. Tried to play it back, and it said that we don't receive that channel. Weird stuff.
I read on a website that when you restore a backup that didn't get backed up from your personal unit, that you need to complete the guided setup, then restart the system. After it completes booting, you are suppose to erase all settings and season passes, and then run the guided setup again. Anyone confirm this?
Help me! :)

It sounds like you've downloaded a V 4.0 image for your 140060. You do need to do a "Clear and Delete Everything" to get this image to work properly. 4.0 images are locked to the serial number of the unit they came from until the C&D.
