Hi,

I hope this doesn't violate the terms of the board, but I thought people might be interested:

In store only, Best Buy is selling a Maxtor 120GB 8MB Cache 7200 RPM Hard Drive for $70 after mail-in rebate. I saw this on the generally up-to-date and low s/n ratio slickdeals.net site:

Unfortunately, no rain check and no stock at any of my local (NYC&LI) stores makes this fall far short of a DEAL for me. According to a sales rep, the Garden City store hasn't had Maxtor 120's for at least 3 weeks. Didn't stop them from putting up a sale sign where the drives would have been. :(
