I recently purchased the airnet adaptor card and installed it using Silicon Dust's boot CD. It installed and is working well. I have a question: I want to be able have the opportunity to reconfigure the card without having to remove the hard disk and reuse the boot CD. Is it jsut the case that I can copy the nic_install drivers (avail from silicon dust) onto my Tivo using ftp to/var/hack/nic_install. Once copied I can run it and get the same configuration screen I had during installation ?

Hi,

The tivo will not run pc executable (nic_install), but you can re-configure -

telnet into your tivo and run nic_config_tivo

This should have beeen installed automatically.

Also, don't forget to reboot (type 'reboot') when you have finished.

thanks...just ran it via telnet and everything worked ok.
