Locked-up TiVo?

Hi... My bedroom TiVo is a TCD240040, upgraded around May with a 120 to give it 160 total. Last night, I turned the TV on to find that it was displaying "Line In", which meant the TiVo wasn't sending any video out its video output. I checked the link light on the ethernet adapter and switch, which were both on, but the remote gave no response from the TiVo. Unplugging and replugging the TiVo brought it back up, albeit with a slightly longer "Almost there, just a few more minutes" screen (slightly longer in my mind, at least). I checked the To Do list, and it successfully recorded a 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM show, but didn't record a 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM show, so it happened sometime between 12:00 AM and 7:30 AM. Anyone seen this before?
Drew
P.S. The TiVo is now running around 50 degrees, about four degrees hotter than when I upgraded it in the spring. I'm not generally one to blame heat, but I just figured I'd mention it.

Sounds vaguely like it was in Standby mode, but then you should have been able to resurrect it with the remote.

Yeah, the "Line In" (or LINE1 actually) display is consistent with standby, but 1) we never use standby, 2) I'm fairly sure I tried the TiVo button among others, and 3) the thing that caused me to realize the lock-up in the first place was that we were in the living room, and the bedroom TiVo failed to show up on the Now Playing screen. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
