Drive failure -- dd output errors -- Should I trust the new drive?

I've got a DSR6000 (dual 160Gb drives) where drive A started to go bad. Too many bad sectors according to PowerMax. I got a replacement drive from Maxtor and performed a
dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdc bs=1024k
like listed in Hinsdale's. My question is that I got some output and I'm wondering if there is anyway to determine how serious it is without adopting a "try it out and wait" philosophy.
The output that I got was:
hda: dma_intr: status=0x51 {DriveReady SeekComplete Error}
hda: dma_intr: error=0x40 {UncorrectableError }, LBAsect=76740090, sector=76740012
end_request: I/O error, dev 03:00 (hda), sector 76740012
I get this over and over for every even numbered sector up through 76740090, with 88 and 90 each having the error ~5 times.
It finally ended with:
37470+32 records in
37470+32 records out
So I'm wondering if I'm going to see problems down the road because there were a few sectors that it couldn't get?

And the answer is. . .yes! You will have problems. You will see the lovely GSOD and since your swap partition isn't 127MB you will endlessly reboot and need to take it apart again and go through the fixes listed in another thread.
I wish there was a way to fix the swap partition permanently and still maintain recordings.
Oh well.
