You are watching some serious TV. wow.
Posted by: TiVoJedi
Do I watch all of these? Occassionally. So much TV, so little time. I have 4 or 5 'season passes' on my Dishplayer that are different than what my TiVo gets. I can get higher quality archives from the DP than my standalone TiVo.
Entertainment Tonight
Family Guy
Futurama
Stargate SG-1
The Twilight Zone
Sliders
That '70s Show
The X-Files
Smallville
Grounded for Life
The Simpsons

phew.... Well looks like it has been a while since I have cleaned up my season pass list. I think I got every reality show ever made covered. I have to admit that looking through that list a lot of stuff never gets recorded because of conflicts. So some of those shows I have not seen in a year or more. Others are mostly just filler. Total of 101 shows though... :)

The key, I've found, is to avoid deleting from the Season Pass Manager if at all possible. Namely, delete from the end of the To Do List or from Search Using WishLists.

I'm sure there are some more, but I can't remember. A number of them, my girlfriend watches, some we both do. While planning for last fall, we finally broke out an Excel spreadsheet to diagram what shows would take up what hour blocks each night. At a glance, we could see where space was available. Had some serious TV to catch up with on occasion (I travel a lot), but not impossible. The girlfriend likes to watch nearly every new crime drama and medical drama each fall, so she'll clog up the Tivos recording it all. She'll keep watching sometimes even after she decides she's not into the show. I hated CSI: Miami and she barely likes it, but she's keeping the SP for another season.

I'm very picky on what I set season passes for...I don't know why...
Posted by: myriadian
ha! this is great!:)...
I actually forgot i had added 'stripperella' to my seasonpasses.
i had also added 'gary the rat' and tnn's 'ren and stimpy' but deleted them both after 1 episode, no fun.
someone had mentioned it takes a long time to delete seasonpasses?
it only seems to take about less than 2 minutes (but if you're sitting there it's a long time :)
oh, i'm also expecting a weaknees expansion kit to arrive on tuesday hopefully :)...another 160gb for tivo to fill up ;)
then the roommate can let the farscape episodes pile up if he wants.
and i can keep an entire season of charmed ;) (mmmmm yummy witches)

I have way too many SPs (IMO) but the top 3 are as follows:
The Late Show with David Letterman
Formula One Racing
FIA World Rally Championship (the preview show and rally)
I think a more interesting question would be "What are your 5 (or 10) favorite Season Passes?"

Sci-fi has some rotating shows every afternoon. There is no rhyme or reason as to when something is coming on. They show some old shows like Galactica, Something is out There, Kolchak the Night Stalker( I had a SP for that until I saw all the eps). Yesterday they just showed 5 hours of Buck Rogers, this is the first time in about a month that they have been shown. Such is the magic of SP's, 'just set it - and forget it', isn't that the slogan for the George Forman grill? :p
Posted by: rtype
I've searched for Battlestar under All Programs and can't find it. :( I guess I'll try going day by day though the guide on SciFi and see if it comes up.

I think I posted this in another thread a while ago. But this thread prompted me to do a bit of cleanup, so I might as well post the revised version:
1. The Amazing Race
1. The West Wing
3. 24
4. CSI
5. ER
6. Alias
7. Nip/Tuck
8. CSI: Miami
9. SNL
10. Simpsons
11. L&O
12. L&O: CI
13. L&O: SVU
14. Friends
15. Scrubs
16. Futurama
17. King of the Hill
18. ARWL Sports/Gymnastics
19. Trading Spaces
20. Family Guy
21. BB4
22. Monk
23. Last Comic Standing
24. American Juniors
25. Oprah
26. Real World
27. Road Rules
28. Osbournes
29. Trading Spaces: Family
30. Crime & Punishment
31. Jeopardy
Looks like it's a lot more than it really is. Most of the dramas are currently summer reruns that I'm not watching, and a bunch of the other stuff only runs during the summer. A bunch rarely gets recorded because of conflicts, and a couple of things I don't watch every episode of (depending on guest/topic).

I went out to the sci-fi channel's website. It looks like the next block will be on Aug 11.
