Tying the Knot: The Wedding of Melissa Joan Hart
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)
Posted by: rich
This show premiered on ABC Family on July 27. It showed how Melissa met her fiancee Mark Wilkerson, how he proposed to her, etc. Then she brought him out to Lake Tahoe to meet her parents, then later they went to his hometown in Alabama for a huge engagement party, where among other things the mayor gave Melissa the key to the city. They are currently scouting wedding/reception sites (expensive ones) in Italy, and in the meantime they flew several of their friends and family members to Jamaica for a celebration. When the time comes they are going to fly the whole party to Italy to attend, and they expect it to last a few days.
This show is nice and the couple comes off well, but man, they are spending megabucks on this!

And why not it's the first, and not the last, marriage for both.

oohh.. the cynicism is strong with this one..

She sure is an attractive girl. But mwhip is right.. It's a Hollywood marriage. But if you want to see some serious money beign dropped on a wedding, wait until Ben and J.Lo tie the knot.

To be exact, the family channel is. One reason they are doing the show is so they DON'T have to pay. Having said that, the idea of how much is being spent by someone is enough to make me barf. We've got starving people in this country and someone thinks this is a good way to spend money. Their values are warped beyond belief.

Cutest bride ever :)
(and don't tell my ex-wife I said that either! ;) )
Tim, holder of theslammer.org, the domain that Sabrina's evil twin (nastygirl@theslammer.org) e-mailed Sabrina the "virus" from! :)

Problem is starving people makes worse entertainment. If the networks figured they could make money off of them, they'd have a show, too.

Nice picture but even there you see the weird eye thing. Her right eye (Left as you look at her) is never as open as the left. It is not like lazy eye where the eye itself is lower, just the lid. I have a similar thing where my eye lids are jut barely above the pupils but it is the same on both side. (Made it heck to wear hard contacts. My lids kept popping them out)
It doesn't make he less attractive per se, but since I noticed it once, I always notice it now.

I've had a thing for her ever since "Clarissa Explains it All." Of course, we were both considerably younger at the time. :)

Hmm.. I guess I see your point. Not that I care or anything :)
How about a nice closed eye picture instead? :)

*sigh* another cutie that I can't snag. First Alyson Hannigan (to Alexis Denisof), and now Melissa.

They all marry musicians. That is why when I am dating a girl I never take her to see bands with people I know in them. I have lost two girlfriends that way. Lesson learned.
