Does anyone know of a code I can use to allow me to control the volume on a VSX-908 amp/receiver using the Tivo remote?
Just been through all the pioneer codes on the remote setup and nothing has worked, which is mighty dissapointing, but wondered if there were any alternatives I could try?

Have you tried adding 1000 to the listed codes? i.e. If 0013 listed, try 1013.

I had a pioneer NS-DV55 ages ago and the remote IR codes / frequency was odd, and no other universal remote worked with it.

well, the +1000 thing did the trick! first code I tried (0001->1001) worked a treat! :D
