Upgraded my failing 40gb last night but backup has errors could someone ""please help"" out and let me download a current image? So I can get the MAXTOR 120 up and running. TIVO in loop.

Have a look at some of the threads on Maxtor and drive locking. At the very least, don't do the upgrade in phases, get the drive into its final configuration before you put it in the TiVo - you may not get a second chance!

I used a new image and everything works great, my upgrade to the MAXTOR, 120GB, 7200rpm, 8mg cache, now works better (faster) than when the OE 40GB was installed. The "Ultra quiet operation with FDB motor" is truly QUIET! Thanks all. Now a current back-up is in order so no more begging for a good image.... (My original had errors and I couldn't back up its image) Again thanks to the forum and especially Robert S.
