Ah, you beat me to it. I couldn't wait to post this. But I guess he did kinda prove his point, didn't he? :D

Posted by: mwhip

I knew it when I heard him say it. But it made sense to me, he was just pluralizing a word that shouldn't be. It goes with the southern thing. We do that with words for some stupid reason.

Posted by: TeeSee

Bronze? The word is "brawns" and I believe he was correct in it's usage.

But neither Nathan or Alison are the brains. Both proved that tonight. I can't stand Dana, but she was right. Vetoing Alison was stupid. Why would you want to keep someone who has proved that she can't be trusted? I always thought Nathan was a moron but there's no doubt now.

And what's with Dana's vindictiveness? She placed the keys in the box in just the right order to be as hurtful as possible? Can she be any more "high school"? If she thinks she can go far burning so many bridges then she's not being any smarter than Nathan.

And now, thanks to Nathan's stupidity and Dana's anger, my two favorite players are up for eviction.

Oooh, I hate Dana so much. This is a great show.:)

Nope, 'brawn' can't be pluralized, at least in common usage.

BTW, we know it was 'brawn', not 'bronze'; it's just that the improper pluralization made it sound like another word, which made it even funnier. :D

Nathan shot himself in the foot last night. The Original Eight alliance is now going to be peeved that he'd save a player like Ali while a stronger player like David is nominated. The Ex's will be peeved that he'd take Ali off the chopping block. That really makes Alison his only "true" ally in the game. From a strategic standpoint, it was stupid to use the veto. From a viewing standpoint, it was great.

I suspect David will go tonight. Anyone else with me?

Posted by: mask2343

All depends on what Jun does. I think the alliance is going to vote for Jack, including Erika. Then the three X's will vote for David. Jun is the wildcard.

Posted by: MalachiNY

No ... I really think the house will all vote for Jack. Dave is too well liked on both sides to be kicked off now ... i.e. hilarity & comic relief.

What "chapped my a$$" the most last night was when Dana says to Nate (right after veto --- something like ---"i am speechless, Nate. That you could turn on your "side" like that, it blows me away & pisses me off."
I couldnt believe she would say that --- when days later she she turned on her "side".

Posted by: Skittles

See, I thought they might go for Jack, too. The problem is, Dave's a *really* strong player (both from a physical and strategic standpoint) and the Original Eight may just use this as an excuse to get rid of him to prevent complications with him down the line.

Posted by: dimented

I think the vote is going to be very interesting. I couldn't get a vibe from lastnight's show on which way the vote is going to go. I believe it could go either way. Personally, I think Allison should go. She acted like a complete ass when she got drunk.

Posted by: pmyers

I think they played up Dave and his hamock hijinks to blindside us becuase he is going tonight.

That line was absolute classic. I must have replayed it 4 or 5 times.

Posted by: drumorgan

Following the mispoken lines, how about Allison's, "Nobody is smarter than me." (I guess not even people who say "Nobody is smarter than I")

Posted by: TivoDaddy

Jun is definitely the swing vote. Nate, Allie, and Erika will vote for Jack. The 3 Stooges will vote for Dave. Will Jun betray her original alliance as Dana did, and vote for Dave to go...stay tuned on the next episode of Big Brother 4 {music plays}.

Dana really is a psycho b!thch like Dave said. There is absolutely no way that the remaining alliance members (Nate, Allie, Erika, and Jack/Dave), who will be in the jury, will ever vote for her to win.

Right now, Dave is my favorite player.

I loved Dave's line from Friday's episode (in the diary room) that they replayed at the start of last night's episode. "Oh, did I mention that" [get up real close to camera] "the crazy phycho B**** has HOH?!" [/get up]. I like both guys up for nomination. I was hoping Jack would stay, and possibly win. He is probably the smartest on the show. Although, Dave does make the show hilarious. I hope they have a guy like him next year.

You must not be paying attention. Everyone, ESPECIALLY Nathan because he hears it 50 times a day, knows the smartest one in the house is Alison. She says so.

:)

I can't find anything good to say about any of them this time around. I would prefer that David was voted off to Jack, but that's not saying much. What a bunch of mean-spirited a-holes. (That's directed at the contestants, not the posters ;))

Sounds just like past Big Brother seasons. I don't know that I've ever really liked anyone on Big Brother, although I usually find someone to root for toward the end.

Season 1 I liked the stripper Jordan. Of course, she was voted out early because they only wanted nice people in the house.

Season 2 I liked the Evil Doctor.

Season 3 I liked Danielle because she was playing it smart from the beginning.

Please correct me if I'm wrong (sometimes I end up watching while doing other things, to justify watching this at all, so I can miss details) but wasn't it last week or so that the rest of the "alliance" of the originals was thinking of getting rid of Dana because they found her annoying? If I'm not mistaken in that, how can they accuse her of breaking ranks if they were thinking of doing so first? And truthfully, since she seemed to know a bit about how displeased some housemates were with her, I can't blame her at all for sticking with the people who are nice to her, instead of sticking with an "alliance" that wanted to break the alliance and get rid of her. Considering that she may have been doomed if she decided to stick with the original folks, I can't blame her for just being truthful about her opinions of people in her nominations. I probably would have done the same thing... I'd rather live on borrowed time and stick with people who like me than ally with people who don't like me. I think she senses that it's unlikely that she'll make it all the way anyway, so why not go for it and jumble things around a bit? Certainly makes it more fun to watch. :)

Kindly disregard if I misinterpreted who wanted to get rid of Dana.

I don't want Jack to go. Though I do think he is wrong when he says that Dana doesn't have anybody in the house who trusts her anymore. The "ex's" seemed to be quite pleased and happy with her and her choices.

The only way to get things back on track is for one of the Original 8 to win HoH. Otherwise they will be out very fast. I really dislike Dana and her 2 followers. They are just using her to get back in the game. For now we see Dana, Robert and the "pretty boy" always together. I really doubt that they will keep her around after the shifting of power has occurred.

Jee and Jun still seem to have a secret alliance going and I think they will use it. But like people have said, Jun is the big wild card. She seems to be following Dana but I don't think she is really on her side. We'll see what happens tonight.

I don't want to see either one of the nominated leave. I like them both. So tonight's eviction will not be a nice thing to watch.

I want to see Dana crash and burn and pay for her deceitful ways. That will be a sweet night of Big Brother watching. And for me, If I were putting her up for nomination, I'd just say "It was the easiest decision I had to make, Dana is up for eviction"

Hairy

I rooted for both of them too, but it was almost because they were "mean-spirited a-holes." I guess there have been "nice" people on BB, like Jason last season.

Alison's boyfriend on the outside must be thrilled.

So many proud moments - asking Nathan on the dinner date, dressing up in her best slut outfit, getting sloshed at dinner (although in her defense, Nathan did say he wanted to get her drunk), kissing Nathan, showing off her ass to Justin in the hottub, kissing and rubbing Justin's thigh, and then finally crawling into bed with Nathan.

Just kvetching, really. It seems that they went out of their way to choose awful people this time. IMO, YMMV, etc. :D

I felt bad for Allison at the beginning of the season, because it sounded like her boyfriend was so overly possessive/suspicious of her. But now I wonder if he maybe did have serious reasons to worry about whether or not she would stay faithful to him. If Allison is just putting on an act, it's pretty darn convincing. If I were dating her, I'd probably consider the relationship over already, even though she hasn't had a wild makeout session or slep with anybody. But then again I'm picky. And a straight girl. And too good for Allison. ;)

OK, here are some live feed updates:

First off, at bedtime last night Dave crawled in bed with Alison, and there was some definate "things" happening under the covers.

Nate was in the hot tub with Robert and Justin trying to save face. Telling them that if HoH competition comes down to Ali, Nathan, Justin and Robert, would they throw it to let Nathan have it and he would nominate Dana. They tentatively and basically said "yes". Because they can not go against Dana. But if someone other than Justin or Robert get HoH and nominate Dana, then there is no question that they would vote Dana out. If that is what HoH wants. Then they went and told Dana a half truth about this, leaving out that they would vote her out.

Dave is the MAN! ;)

The best part about that (always put live feed updates in spoiler tags - not everyone wants to hear them):
Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Dave said this morning he only did it for the game, to get on her good side if he stayed. He said it was like making out with his sister and he really didn't want to do it :). He felt bad because of how much he liked amanda.

Posted by: debtoine

My favorite line from the live feed today: (I tried to get it as close to word for word as possible)

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Dana cooking breakfast to Robert: "Are your 2 brothers up yet?"
Robert: "Yes, don't you hear them?"
Dana: "But Jee can't get out of bed yet 'cuz he's got morning wood, right?"

To hear her say that so nonchalantly, and basically in front of the world....classic.

Fine

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Ali is definitely going to be single after she gets out. And would not be surprised to see her on Cupid or The Bachelorette.

And yes, Dave is the man. He was with Amanda and Ali. And has kissed Michelle and Dana.

more

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Also, when Nate was in the Hot tub with Robert and Justin, he said if one of them got HoH he would roll on Ali. Said he saved her once, she is going to have to save herself from now on.

Oh, so this is how you do it. That wasn't so bad.

But...

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Why didn't they mention/show the Dave/Alison hook up last night (7/30)??
