First upgrade on my Sat-T60. airnet adapter and zoomair 4100 from 9th Tee.
1Did the backup and tivoflash. Tivo booted up sucsessfully.
2.then installed the airnet drivers and hardware. Powered the tivo and it just keeps flashing black.
Turned it off, pulled out the hardware and repowered it and now it just hangs on "Welcome Powering up"

Something else I should tell you. My PC bios reported a drive failure was iminent with the factory quantum 40g im using. It said backup the data and replace the drive. Not sure if that's normal.

I know PCs pretty well. Nothing of linux except from what I've followed in the directions for installing the airnet. Please help.

My questions are:
1. is there a way to backup all my shows before I do anything drastic
2. why is my tivo hanging
3. how do I fix it? hehe

Hi,

If you did a backup before you started then restoring the backup should be safe - you will still have all your shows.
