I'm sure James Gandolfini's contract renegotiation drama didn't help things.

If I remember right they pushed it back because they are adding like 6 episodes to this season....or something like that.

To be fair to Jimmy, I understand that after he got his hefty contract, he started cutting 6 figure checks to the other regulars. I wonder if he is going to pay the highway robbery gift tax...

I'm pretty sure they are sticking with 13 episodes...but they may be shooting more than that when everyone is together as a head-start on the following season, which is already signed...I wonder if they consider doing 26 in a row...

Yeah, I head he spread the wealth, which was nice, since the show really is an ensemble piece.

I think after season 5 they are planning on doing a 6-episode bonus season. After that, fuhgeddaboudit!

According to this site, Season 5 will be 13 episodes and Season 6 will be only 10 episodes...
