I have a TIVO Series 2 DVR. The hard drive(60 gig) crashed and is making a clicking noise. It is not showing up as a primary slave, I think it's trashed. I bought a new 80 gig Maxtor and hooked that up as a secondary master and it shows up fine. I used msf tools to boot the pc. Here's the basics, I don't care what was on the 60 gig HD, is there an easier way to just use the 80 gig from scratch? I've been reading about getting an image, how exactly does that work and if that is what I need where do I get one?

I've been through Hinsdale's how to, I'm stuck because I can't get passed where my pc isn't seeing the old Tivo drive. If I get an image, is that all i need? or should I be using maketivobootable.

A TiVo backup file is about 300Mb, MTB is about 8kb.
