Hi I have a philips sa upgraded to 2 drvs. I put the tn line in rc.d. The router shows a connection but did not assign an ip. Will running tivonet
script help? I have rc.d only in 4 but not in 7 or 9. Thanks adios toyman:p

It is a bootable disk - the filesystem is compressed and is mounted when you boot.

Can you boot from a floppy then mount the Nic_Install CD? Not sure what to do after mounting the CD.

No - the cd will only work if you boot off it (you can't just mount it).

You will either need to boot off the cd or you could use the driver-only download - it should fit on a disk.

Can these wireless or wired card upgrades for the SA Series 1 also perform the "Multi-Room Viewing" function....as with the Series2 with the HMO ?

There are hacks out there that can allow you to transfer shows from TiVo to TiVo, although you have to use a computer as an intermediary. I don't think we're allowed to talk about this particular hack on this forum, but PM me if you want more info.
