I have been trying to get tcs to work but I am having problems as the network seems to be down if I try to get a dns server from inside tivo. I have tried many things to fix this and in the process of looking at my airnet configuration, I noticed that if I try and set a static IP address, the default gateway stays at dhcp. I cant seem to set it as a static address. I looked in the rc.net file and it mentions the IP and mask but no mention of the default gateway.

Any ideas how I can set my default gateway static using nic_config_tivo ?

nic_config_tivo should set the gateway hat I have to admit that this may be one combination that has not been tested.

Can you run nic_install again?
