upgrading an already hacked tivo?

I've had my tivo for a few years now, and a long time ago hacked it to add the turbonet, turn on telnet and install tivoweb, etc. I never upgraded the size though..
Now I've purchased a 120GB drive to add as a new B drive (I've got an SVR2000 with a single drive). Do I need to go through the whole process of yanking the drives and putting them in a PC? It seems like I should be able to just attach the second drive and somehow get it working. Can I run mfsadd directly on the tivo?
Thanks for any advice..

Don't you think it might be better to copy the current drive on to the new one?

I hand't really thought about it. I guess the advantages would be that I have the original drive as a backup and still can add a B drive later for even more room. I guess that does make a lot more sense now that you mention it.. :)

Just a bit of advice - do the "-Tao" backup instead of a "dd" so that you can add swap in the process, and make a backup while you're at it.
