Customize Channels Not working since Weaknees upgrade

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just upgraded my Sat T60 with the dual 180 upgrade from Weaknees and it went perfect. The Sat T60 had to do the system upgrade and seemed to work fine.

But now I cannot turn off channels I do not want to see in the Customize Channels menu. It worked fine prior to upgrade.

It is driving me crazy since I like to roll through channels when surfing but cant stand seeing all of Directv's crappy advertising channels.

Please help

Thanks

Chuck

There is a bug in the UK 2.5.5 software that we found - in case that bug is also in your version of the software, I'll describe it:

If you have backdoors enabled, sometimes channels can get "stuck" in that menu. The only solution is to reboot to turn backdoors OFF, then carefully remove the ones you don't want.

If you have a turbonet AND it is set to make daily calls via the network, it turns backdoors on at every bootup, so this is a major problem. You have to set it to daily calls via modem temporarily to stop it doing this.

I am not sure if Backdoors are enabled. If Weaknees ships it with backdoors on then they are. This is a USA model.

What would I do to check for backdoors enabled?

I am using SW: 3.1.0-01-1-011

Thanks

Nope - backdoors aren't enabled.

There are problems at the moment with the data coming off the satellites and this problem may be related to that. I'd wait a few days and see what happens, frankly.
