line up changes

when a channel gets 'deleted' in a line up change, can we get a list of the Season passes and recordings that got cancelled with it? i.e. my line up just changed channel 9 from WGN to WGNSAT, dropping all my SP's (which i don't remember all that were set on that channel). so i had to scroll thru 2 weeks by hand to see if any of the shows were ones that i watched (hehe, w/ tivo i no longer can remember what channel shows i watch are on...) and i think i still missed some that aren't currently listed) or that the line up change was 'incorrect' because looking at www.tvguide.com on tuesday nights, buffy the vampire slayer is listed at 7pm but on my tivo it says tuesday is deathwish V.

WGN in the Chicago area would have Buffy. The rest of the country gets a different feed without the WB programming (hence WGNSAT--WGN SATellite).

i understand that the WB programming differs from area to area. my post was to suggest that when a lineup happens causing SP's to be dropped, a list of dropped SP's be provided to the user, so they can be recreated (if necessary)

Along these lines, how about an option to accept/reject/delay the suggested channel lineup change?

I lost my WGN last week. I lost two important recordings because of that - once when it said my lineup changed, and once when it changed it back. I wish there were a way to say "don't let any channel lineup changes take affect until after I approve them." Channel lineups don't change very often, after all.

I knew the change was incorrect, I should still have had 6 days of the correct channel data in TiVo, so I would have liked to have kept it thinking I had WGN instead of WGNSAT for several days and not missed my recordings. Several channels have multiple stations possibilities that might be showing and you select the one you get in your area in the Customized Channels screen. They could put the new channel in there, but unselected, so I could activate it once I verified that the change was correct.

I'm in Palatine, IL and the same thing happened.

Although, I just realized that now it's back to WGN and not the WGNSAT signal.

I think someone either at TiVo, where they manage the channel line-up, or AT&T cable, provided someone some bogus info. Because even when the channel line-up showed WGNSAT, the programs that were actually being displayed were from WGN. Go figure.

I do agree though, I also had to review all the selections that I had a season pass on this channel, and of-course, had to reset them as well.
