Will the second TiVo get HMO for free when I set it up tonight or will I have to order a normal HMO subscription for this new TiVo? I want to try out the multi-room viewing...

It will cost you another fifty bucks for the secound TiVo. The multi-room viewing is cool, we use it all the time, especially when we need to record two shows at the same time. The only drawback is they are using USB 1.1 so the speed of connection isn't as fast as I (we) would like it to be! Have fun I'm sure you will find it useful....

I know it will cost $50 extra to sign up after the trial, but I wonder if I will have to shell out $$$ right now since I'm getting this second TiVo *after* the August 2nd deadline past. In other words, when I configure this TiVo tonight, will HMO be activated?
