I'm confused, What, exactly, does HMO give you?

I know it allows you to stream mp3's and view photos and all that...

My question is:

When you pay $99 (or whatever it is now), what do you get from TIVO? More hardware? Software? An access code? What?

(:confused: In other words, what is the cost justification?)

You get features activated that were part of the 4.0 software you already have.

The following will be enabled.

Multi-Room Viewing if you have purchased this on multiple units
Remote Scheduling
Music and Photos

It also helps to have the TiVo on a Home Network for Music/Photos and Multi-Room Viewing.

TiVo assumes you have the Home Network already, and there is no hardware included in the cost.
