I've got a series 1 phillips 60 hour, that I've already upgraded both hard drives to 120's each. No problems... My question is, I just got a TurboNet card. Do I need to remove both hard drives to install the FTP/Telnet clients or just drive "A"?

Anyone?

22 reads with no reply... Anyone??

Hi,

You need to install both drives to back up the tivo system.

Then you need to remove the B drive and install the turbonet software with only the A drive attached.

well, things aren't going well at all... :(

Drive "A" is read only? I can't mount a floppy, and I'm completely stuck.

Hardware-wise, it was a piece of cake to snap the card in, but now what should I do? I have 2 western digital drives, so qunlock isn't going to fix anything...

Did I just waste 70 bucks on a network card from 9th tee? I'm quite handy when it comes to MS OS's, but linux just baffles me...

Please help...

Well, I found different instructions... I was operating off the following and no wonder I couldn't get anything to work...

Following these instructions is getting me much farther...

I just hate following the wrong directions...

boy, it's amazing how easy it is when you have the correct instructions...

set it up, tested it and it works like a charm!:)
