I really miss Bill Nye

We've seen every single episode and even saved a few. Can anybody recommend a similar show that is on now, preferably one that is currently in production?

Good Eats: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_ea

If Bill Nye could cook, he would resemble AB.

You know what show I wouldn't mind seeing again is 'Mr. Wizard's World'. Wasn't that on Nickelodeon?? Does anyone post shows like this on newsgroups? I should do some investigation.

Yeah, I miss Bill Nye too. Nick was showing his shows late night/early morning for a while, but my season pass hasn't picked up any shows lately.

I used to watch Beaker too, but it wasn't quite the same.

Bring back 3-2-1 Contact. :D

Before "Science Guy" he was a regular on a Seattle-based SNL-like show, I think it was called "Almost Live."

And bring back Beakman's World too!

Correct. If you get Seattle TV, KING-5 still runs Almost Live! reruns Sunday morning at 1 a.m., after Saturday Night Live.

Thanks to TiVo Alost Live! is a regular Sunday show for us.

What!? No fair. I'm moving. That show rules.

It seems that the current crop of edutainment television is all aimed at the preschool set. I really liked the ones aimed at late elementary school age, especially for science.

Is The Jeff Corwin Experience still running on Animal Planet? You might want to check it out. His show is fun and smart/silly, plus there are lots of cool animals.

If you do a search for the Back to the Future cartoons based on the series (which I think are airing now, Bill Nye appears in them (live, not as a cartoon).
