Tivo Airnet

Hi

Having Problems getting airnet to work. I have an airnet card from 9th Tee and a Generic IEEE802.11b 11Mbps Wireless CardBus PC Card.
I've have install the latest software on my Tivo's A Drive (running two 120GB Drives) but when I power up my Tivo the Wireless Card does not even show as been active.

Anyone got any ideas what the problem may? Could it be a faulty airnet card or Do I need a different Wireless Card? (i have check that card works in my laptop).

Hi,

The Tivo does not support CardBus - you need to find a Prism (or Orinoco if you don't need WEP) PCMCIA card.

I understand Frys have a Prism card for $30 - I will check.

Aren't the Linksys WAP11 cards based on Prism?

Does the Netgear MA401 use PRISM? How the hell are you supposed to know before you buy it. The datasheet doesn't say. It sure would be nice if someone would post a list of adapters that are known to work with AirNet.
