So, who's going home? Ratbert or Justin? Personally I wonder what Nathan and Justin are going to talk about tonight.
Posted by: Skittles
Justin's out the door. I'd almost be willing to wager on it. It makes more sense to get rid of him now, before the competitions become more endurance based as they seem to always do during the last few HoH competitions.
The only thing that threw me off was Jack's comment at the end, about how he wanted Robert gone right that moment, as soon as he walked out of the Diary Room. I wouldn't be surprised if the editors are pulling a fast one to make Robert look safe this week.

I think it could go either way. I think that it all depends on what Ali and Jun want to do now that they have formed an alliance. They may shake things up and vote out Robert.

Who do you think as the best strategy in the house now? I think it's jun

Well I'm glad to know that I'm not going crazy. I swear I heard jack say the same thing. What is up with that? The only thing I can think of is that he knows that Robert would have all the sympathy votes if he made it to the final 2.

The only thing I can see is if Jack has figured out that Alison and Jun have an alliance and plan on getting Jee to vote out Robert. Considering that Jack has no bad blood with Robert from what we've seen, and he's been gunning for Justin for weeks now, his comment didn't make a whole lot of sense unless there's something we don't know about.

Listen to it again. If this is the section I am thinking about, it caught my ear, too. I know one part where they asked earlier about who should stay and then he answered after some clips. It really sounded like he wanted Robert to go, but when I put the two together, he actually meant that Robert should stay.
I could be just imagining things, but I'll watch that part again tonight.
Posted by: pmyers
well I thought he said "I want Robert out of this house before I leave this room"....it was something specific enough to really raise my ears.

Yeah the Jack DR comment freaked me out a bit too.. I had to replay it 3 times to make sure what he was saying.. But it seemed very poorly edited.. Like he said something else right after it that would have put it in context.
I think it was a red herring.
Posted by: drumorgan
A red herring? That has nothing to do with this discussion. Are you trying to create a smoke screen or send us on a wild goose chase by diverting the topic?
;)

I heard Jack's comment too, but I don't think he would be stupid enough to vote for Justin to stay another week. So if Jack votes J out, and Jee votes R out, it all depends on Allie and Jun. Jun may be sorta allied with Jee, but even she must see how Justin is more of a threat. Allie will probably waffle until the last minute, so it really could go either way.
How pathetic was Jack at the veto competition. The challenge looked pretty simple to me.
Could the next America's Choice please be "Which houseguest do you want to see wearing more clothes?" (cough...Jun...cough)

It could be possible that after Erika and Ratbert's teary reconciliation, Erika has gotten to close to Ratbert, and Jack feels that she might switch her alliance with him. Ratbert is the sentimental favorite to win, and with him winning the POV 2x in a row, he's a threat to win HOH.
Although I hate both Jun and Alie, they make it worth watching for the bitchiness factor. :D

What will really be interesting is the HoH competition tonight. Since Erika's ineligible, Jack's really going to be gunning hard to win Head of Household. If Robert or Jee wins, they'll put up Erika and Jack.
Although...... imagine if Jun won it. There'd be more melodrama in the Big Brother House than an episode of Degrassi Junior High.
Posted by: ufo4sale
I'm hoping Jun wins it because know one would no what she would with it.

I'm hoping you know you did that.

I doubt that Ratbert would put up Erika. He wants Jun out, and I bet he would put up Jack.

So I could fast forward through the "Robert gets letter from 7 yr old daughter" segment. Now I love my kids as much as the next person, and I can take some smaltz with the best of them, but these "letters from home" segments are just so over the top!
For pete's sake, if you miss your daughter (family / loved ones etc) so much don't enter a competition where you know, up front, that you will be away from them for 3 months, without any contact.
End of rant!
On the strategy side, it is my prediction, (accuracy to be verified tonight), that Ali will not vote against Justin - she is too beesotted with him.
So there! :p

I think they will all vote for Justin.
Here's my rant. These veto shows are following a formula a little too closely. Every time someone is not going to use the veto, they edit the 15 minutes before the veto to try to make us think someone is going to use the veto and shake things up, but they never do. Last night, they were trying to do this again with Jun, and I was like: "Puh-lease." It's the Boy Who Cried Wolf scenario, big time. It's almost like even though these people are decided upon not using the veto, they ask them in the diary room "what if" they did use it, then they edit these comments in to make it seem like they're actually considering it. :D

This is what I see happening tonight:
Jee - evict Ratbert
Jun - evict Ratbert
Allie - evict Justin
Jack - evict Justin
Erika (tie breaker) - evict Ratbert
Posted by: ufo4sale
are people being told what to say in the diary room?

I agree. It sounded like it was only part of his whole sentence. I think he probably said something like "I want Robert gone right now, but Justin is a bigger threat so he needs to go first.", but we only heard the first part.

No, but Big Brother does ask them questions about whatever they want to try and get clips about.

Why would you think Erika would vote to evict Ratbert and go against Jack?

I agree with you completely. I don't understand why people with young children go on reality shows like this.
But while it's a pretty silly decision to make, I do sympathize with the folks who are pining for their loved ones. I was really touched by the little segment about Robert and his daughter.

What I think would make for great TV is if Jun wins HOH she should nominate Jack and Robert. Erika would vote for Robert. Jun would tell Jee how to vote in order for the both of them to get further in the game. Alison might listen to Jun If she can't come up with a better strategy so she might vote for whomever she wants.

There are a half million reasons ... Half of that after taxes could be a life change for some families.

Nah, Erika wouldn't evict Robert... she'd definitely go for Justin. She's told everyone all week on the live feeds about how Robert is just a stepping stone to get to Justin.

I'll add my vote to the "Justin's gone" crowd.
And returning to the POV competition, Jun did amazing, given the fact that she seemed to spend half the time on the competition pulling up her dress, or whatever the hell that was she was wearing.
She would have had a sub-2 minute run if she was wearing real clothes.

what was that thing she was wearing? yuck! I always wonder why these people are wearing appropriate clothes for competitions.

One question. What do we do about the fantasy team when there are only four players eligible to pick?
Posted by: drumorgan
Also, how about a Big Brother show where nobody gets voted out. Only people leave when they can't take it anymore.
An endurance contest. There would have to be some motivation for people to leave though, as I can imagine some losers more than content to spend 20 years in there eating for free.

I think Justin will be gone.
As for Jacks comment I believe either it was edited and taken entirely out of context or, Robert may have done something to piss off Jack and thats when he said it.
And towhoever said Red Herring above - I say a definite yes, this show is full of them.
Posted by: pmyers
well....I guess it was a Red Herring.
