Amazing Race Finish **Spoiler**
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)
Posted by: Michael R
After nude swimming in Hawaii National Park on the south end of the Big Island of Hawaii and a near wreck near what looks like Hilo, Hawaii (also on The Big Island) it's on to Papago Park near Phoenix then straight to the finish line in the football stadium at Arizona State University in Scottsdale.
Now the big spoiler:
The Amazing Race route markers are yellow and red. Combine those two colors and you have orange. Going back to the CBS web site viewers popularity poll for TAR2 and TAR3 you'll find that the race winners were assigned the color orange on the CBS web page.
The race couple who was given the CBS popularity poll orange line in TAR4 also have started prematurly appearing in Travelocity ads. This same race couple were the first to have up a professionally done Internet web page.
This race couple is (drum roll) Kelly and Jon
BTW: Reichen and Chip are no longer coupled in unholy matrimony

Route markers for the first Race were (I believe) Yellow and White. Still an interesting observation on the orange line though.

Interesting if true. Gee, sorry to hear about Chip & dale! Gee, what a shocker. Not.

OK, I just finished looking at the CBS sites...
I can't get the first one to display (it doesn't like my version of Flash) but for 2, 3 and 4 the colors are in the same order in all cases. The teams are listed alphabetically for 3 and 4 (but not for 2).
Orange is the fifth color and Chris & Alex, Flo & Zach and Kelly & Jon are the fifth team listed. So, you could just as easily say that whoever is listed fifth is the winner. This obviously holds for 2 & 3. (Remember, I can't see 1. Can someone check and see what the ordering is there?)
That's a weird coincidence, but I'm not sure it means anything. Still interesting though...

Sucks hard. Wrong outcome again. Rats. I really wanted J & K to win. I really think they are a great couple. Their sense of humor will take them a long way in this life.

Where did you hear this? Haven't seen it anywhere else and they seemed "friendly" enough on the Early Show today.

Are you being sarcastic or do you actually like them? We couldn't stand them, and I thought their sense of humor was very 2nd-grade-ish. They were horrible people and they treated each other so badly, they are like an advertisement for divorce.

Very disappointed on the outcome.
I learned something new watching last night's show: Being gay is a handicap. What was that all about? Reichen's speech that you can do anything even if you're gay made me want to throw up. Did they just win the Special Olympics? Give it a rest already. Yes, we know you're gay, you're just like everybody else.

We liked J & K too. Thought they had a pretty good relationship- it'd be tough to race, and they were aware of their issues.
Really enjoyed them making fun of the Chipsters. That rocked.

For everyone who keeps saying "big deal, you're gay. Nobody is keeping you from doing anything..." - please refer that comment to the US Military.
