How about a To-Do list which is grid based like in TVguide/newspapers? It could be blank for a date/time with no scheduled recordings, green for recordings with no conflicts and red for a show which will record but will cancel/block another show from recording.

I am a new Tivo user and one of the most bizarre things I have noticed is how the guide works...

I used to have TWC in NYC and it is by far the best guide system I have ever seen. I don't think anyone will disagree with that. UP and DOWN takes you through the channels, LEFT and RIGHT takes you ahead or back in the time slots...so easy...

Tivo should definitely make this change!!!
