I have 2 Tivos and have few problems with them based on the software:

1) When I look at "List", what I see is the title and the month. Sure would be great to see the days first if something has to be cut off the screen.

2) When I look at the "List", I have several versions of some shows, but because of the way it is displayed I have to go to the next page to see the episode title (why not put it under the date from RHT justified) thus having two lines per entry.

3) When I have a conflict for recording, when it tells me about the two shows neither has days or time. How about more information on the page to make a smarter decision.

4) Sure love to have a way to sort the List in several fashions.
a) Date recorded
b) Date to delete
c) Title
d) Person recorded (see below) up to 4 people

5) Since I am not the only person recording on these things: (Wife and kids). How about a way to identify who requested the recording by 3 initials. My wife blows away my and my kid's shows all the time because she does not know the show by title and wants the space. Maybe my show could live longer this way.

6) Since I have multiple of these devices in the house and I am wired Fast Ethernet, it would be great to be able to send (stream) a show from one TIVO to another. Cannot always get on the one that did the recording, because I do not live alone.

7) Be great if the system when you recorded a show for single event and viewed it, offered you right then the chance for a "Season Pass" or to record the next showing. Real pain to have to go dig each time I want to see the next showing, because my machine has too many season passes to allow for more season passes.

8) Speaking of Season passes, it would be great to list just season passes. Then allow a person to order them in priority, so that if they conflict the highest priority is recorded. But tell when you chose two shows that are on only once per day/week and conflict. (Example CSI and Level 9, on at 2100 on Friday nights).

Most of what you list are enhancements or new features, and most are not in 2.0. Here is a list of the 2.0 features as they exist on DirecTivos. Standalones will be similar.

1) Fixed in 2.0

2) Not in 2.0. I wouldn't want it anyway, 2 lines/show means 1/2 as many shows listed per screen.

3) Not sure about this, find a directivo or a directivo owner

4) Nope

5) Nope

6) Nope. Would require new hardware.

7) Nothing in that form but 2.0 has other features that may help.

8) a. 2.0s season pass manager b. Not as such but between the to-do list and recording history you can find out.

3) Yes.

That's assuming v2.0 for stand-alones won't lack any of these improvements that are already in the DirecTiVo v2.0.
