Help adding a new B drive please....!

I have now successfully restored my backup to a new 160 gb drive (I know it only gives me 137, but I'd returned a 120 to Maxtor and got the bigger one as a replacement, so I look at it as 17 gained!) I've checked it and it works fine.
I now need to put the second drive in. Not sure how I have to do this. Do I have to have the A drive reconnected to the PC to get it to recognise the new B drive? Or can I just connect the B to my PC, boot into MFSTools and do a line command?
I won't be doing it until tomorrow night now, so any advice would be much appreciated....!
Thanks!

If you'd done what winders told you, you'd already have a working two-drive set. Now you have to take both drives back to the PC and do
mfsadd -x /dev/hdX /dev/hdY
(where hdX and hdY are the A and B drives respectively).

OK, thanks! I'll give that a go this evening.
I did try to do what you initially advised, but as you saw from my other post it didn;t work that way. I wasn't sure which drive to specify for each part (backup & restore - I wasn;t sure if I was saying back this up, or backup to this, if you know what I mean). I also couldn't get the | character (found it since though) to work so assumed that meant to split the command into two parts, which I imagine caused the problem!
Not to worry though; in the end I just ditchd that method and restored the tivo.bak I had previously created (and store on a spare drive) and my new A drive works and shows 47 hours recording at best quality and it's got all my settings, so I just need to do as you mentioned and reconnect them both to add the B drive (I left my PC with it innards all hanging out last night anyway....!)
Many thanks for your help!

Woo hoo! It worked!
Many thanks Robert! 89 hours & 13 mins at best quality now available! Over 300 minutes at basic quality....!
