WS_FTP 4.5 doesn't like TiVo

I'm excited at getting telnet and FTP going on the TiVo, but have hit a snag. WS_FTP cannot establish a session with the TiVo:

connecting to 192.168.0.4 ...
Connected to 192.168.0.4 port 21
220 You are in TiVo Mode. 220 Login isn't nec
USER
500 Syntax error, command unrecognized.
! Logon failure, so quitting

Host Type is set to Unix (Standard), User ID and Password are left blank, Anonymous is off.

I can't seem to find a way to prevent WS_FTP from sending the USER command. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Try dummy username/password of tivo/tivo. This works fine using WS_FTP lite.
Also make sure you set it to use Passive mode in the options.
