I'd like to be able to hook my in-laws up with some of the cool things I can do on my HDVR2 (TiVoWeb and such). But, I know nothing about doing this on a SA. Can anyone help me out?
It is currently sitting at 4.0.

Just use one of the supported adapters which are listed at http://www.tivo.com/adapters

If you want more information, there a Spring 2003 Service Update Guide available which goes through all the changes in version 4 of the software which includes the networking support.

Oops - they just revised it to the Summer 2003 Service Update Guide (with the new guide stuff -- which I don't have yet :( )

Hello,

I am new to TiVo having just got a Hughes HDVR2 Tivo.

You mention some things that you have done with yours.

Could you please steer me in the right direction on what things can be done to enhance this TiVo?

I am most interested in connecting it directly to the Internet.
