Storage and net mods for DirecTiVo

I'm new to TiVo and want to upgrade my DTiVo Philips DSR7000 to add more storage as well as connect it to my local network. I'm getting overwelmed with all the info here because some mods can be done with all units, some require version 4 software, some standalone only etc. But I'm not finding a clear direction for clearing up my confusion for Series2 DTiVo mods. (even my question is confusing...)
1--> I'd like to put 2 120gig drives in the unit. I'm finding conflicting info from 9th Tee and Weaknees about the necessity of a bracket. 9th Tee says "you do not need a bracket for the DirecTiVo Units", but Weaknees says "The TwinBreeze is the only way to add a drive to a Series 2 DirecTiVo.". Which seems to be correct?
2--> I'd like to connect the unit to my local network for telnet and web access. I'm running both wired and wireless, but would prefer wireless. The DSR7000 has USB ports on it and I'd like to go that route but all I'm seeing about that says I need version 4 software which I don't have. And I've seen mentioned somewhere that it might require the Home Media Option which isn't offered for DTiVo. So if that is the case does this mean that I need to go with an internal card? What I'm seeing about TurboNet and AirNet look like they won't work with this unit either. Am I out of luck?
Thanks,
Steve

As far as adding a drive to that unit, you do need a bracket (we sell one, as does 9thtee).
That quote is a little out of context - what we say is "The TwinBreeze is the only way to add a drive to a Series 2 DirecTiVo (Hughes HDVR2, Philips DSR7000, and RCA DVR39) and Series 2B Standalone (TCD230040, TCD240040, TCD24004A, and TCD240080 only - others don't need TwinBreeze) that combines all of these important features:" and then we list the features.
But we aren't the only ones who have a bracket for that unit.

I am new to TiVo and want to upgrade my DTiVo Philips DSR7000 as well. I mostly want to get this sucker wireless. I am just overwhelmed with the information out there. Is there a guide specific to the DSR7000 out there someone can point me to? I mostly just want to go wireless.
