Let me start off by saying thanks to anyone that can help!

I am really new to turbonet cards, and have just installed one into a sat-t60. And have pinged it to test it works. I can make a connection through tera term with no problems and get a bash prompt. My problem is that i am trying to transfer tivoweb-tcl-1.9.4.tar.gz to /var/hack and it will get to about 27% and then it stops and nothing happens. I have to restart the tivo to get a bash prompt back.

I haven't ever had any problems with a homemade serial cable.

Any ideas why this might be.. thanks

Not really... but...

How are you transferring? Try using (command line) ftp in binary mode.
