hi

Got a data inconsistency error loading a slice.

I have 2 120gig drives in a SVR-2000 with 16meg memory.

The mfsfix/reboot thing was happenning, so I used Robert S's method to make my swap 127 meg using the unused app partition.

It has been sitting at rebuild green screen, no reboots, now for 2 hours or so.

How long does this rebuild take? I know both drives are chock full of programs, 297 at last count, going back to 2001

I have heard some say it takes up to 6 hours?

Well

GSOD repaired. It took 6HOURS 13minutes!!!!

But all fixed

I also plan to leave my svr-2000 with the larger swap space, making it unupgradeable.

I really do not think svr-2000 or series one will see any more upgrades.

If they do, I'll move it back again....
