I thought I would post this topic to see what kind of deals everyone are getting or has gotten on their TiVo's purchase price.

I paid $399 less the $100 rebate on the Sony T-60. This thing is a bargain even at full price.

I didn't tell you about my deals My first one was an OB 14HR SA Tivo after rebate cost me 56$. the second I just got was an open box from Ultimate electronics a Philips DSR-6000 for 249.95,however when I got it home it didn't have an access card so I called Ultimate electronics and they replaced it with a new one after rebate 149.95 so who ever stole the access card got me a new unit for OB price so my thanks to them for being stupid and stealing an access card

Well last August, I bought a NIB 14hr from CC that was pricematched + 10% off to Sears closeout for $199. After I received both rebates of $100 each from TiVo and CC, they paid me to take it off the premises. Of course I did buy a 5 yr. EW with it, and a good thing too. My Mom said it quit on her a few weeks ago and I haven't had time to get to it to tinker and or return it. Hopefully a week or so after the 4th I can do this.

I got one for free from a TiVo essay contest last year! Incidentally, so did three of my friends. Talk about a good deal! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

I think he was talking about a real purchase, but I did win a free TiVo myself during the essay giveaway. That brings my TI=TiVo Indeces (spinoff of CI=Cylinder Index for those gearheads out there) up to 2:1 for 88 bone stock hours capacity vs 44YO.

FYI, My CI is 1.32:1.

I got two Philips DSR6000's for $175 each plus the $100 rebate on one. Plus I got a new dish and installation for an additional two lines.

Good Guys was having their inventory cleaning sale. Every "open box" Directv receiver was on sale for 50% off. The salesman didn't think they would be included, but he checked and there it was, $175! Doing the math, that means I got two for $250 or $125 each!!

I also got the Mits HD5 for $399. I was having a good day!

I guess I got lucky with a Tivo off ubid. I won a 14 hour Philips for 129.00 but when it arrived it was a 30 hour. I guess they ran out of 14s so had to substitute with a 30.

I got a 30hr S/A, two 14hr S/A's and a DTiVo for less than $400. That's pretty good! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Between the Mercata/MSN double discount and TiVo $100 rebate I got a 30 hour TiVo for $120 last November. I also got a Pronto remote during the same deal for under $200.

Easy. I won a 14 Phillips Tivo for free in Tivo's contest, and sent in the rebate form explaining that I won my Tivo from Tivo. They paid the $100 rebate. I spent the $100 on a quantum 30 gb hard drive ($100 after coupon and rebate from Onvia.com); so I got a 54-hr Tivo for, well, free.
