Looking for Image

Well, like many who have posted here before, I find myself in the unenviable position of having a TiVo hard drive that has gone south. My attempts to image it with Hinsdale's's tools were not successful, as the image file would not properly startup the TiVo. I suspect the original hard drive is simply too far gone to provide a good image. I am hoping someone out there can take pity on me and help me obtain an image file that I can use. My TiVo is a Series 2, 60Hr unit, made by TiVo. Is anyone able to help?

The computer you loaded the image from..was it running any windows system newer than 98SE? IF so and you didn't use a MSDOS boot disk windows writes something to it that makes TiVO go nuts. I was near tears over this one.

No, I was very careful about that. I used a DOS boot disk (Windows 98SE) and had no drive attached that even had a Windows install on it. Sadly, I suspect my hard drive is simply too far gone...
