Big Brother 9/10 (no live feed spoilers - show spoilers ok)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: dthmj

Those live feed spoilers are so tempting - so please just start a new thread for them - I don't want to know who wins HoH until the show airs.

Personally, I think Ali blew it... She should have cut a deal with Erika to not use the PoV and vote out Jun. Jun would have still voted for Ali in the end - now Erika is going to go back and bad mouth Ali.

If it's Robert and Ali or Jun in the end, I think the house will vote along gender lines... Which means Nathan will vote with the girls - he's just too pretty... :D

Posted by: LooseWiring

I think you are wildly mistaken. At this point the only person I can see actually winning is Alison.

Despite the fact that she is an uber-bitch she definitely has played the game better than any other and I think that the jury will recognize that.

Robert made it to the final three based on his alliances. Jun made it through pretty much without effort or challenge. Alison, however, has been a target since week 3 and has managed to come out on top every time.

If I had a vote, even if I personally hated her, I would vote for Alison.

Posted by: dimented

I would have to agree with you on Ali winning. Everybody has wanted her out every week since week 3 and yet somehow she stays in their. You can say what you want about her personality but she knows how to play the game.

Posted by: FLbadgirl

I was sad to see Ericka evicted last night because I think she was the only one deserving of the money (or the only person likable left) but I do agree Allison is going to take this competition. She's the strongest competitor who has dominated during HOH, Veto, and food challenges, so there is no way she's giving up this final HOH competition. Look for Ali to hold on for dear life and half-million dollars!!

Posted by: cello

I think that Ali made the right move for herself. I think that Jun would have held a bigger grudge than Erika will. And I think that Erika would have been unbeatable in the final 2.

I completely agree! She was favored to win in the poll results on the BB4 website and I think the jury of her peers would have voted for her WAY before they would vote for Ali.

Posted by: KRS

But Allie neglected to put on her sweatshirt during the HoH contest, while Jun wisely covered up. That's the only thing that could stop her.

I don't see Ratbert doing well in this contest. He was complaining about the "snow" 2 seconds after it started, and we all know how poorly he does at endurance contests.

Sadly, I have a feeling that unless she farks up and lets go by accident, Allie is still the most likely to win HoH.

In previous BBs, when the player I was rooting for gets voted off, I was able to shift to another player to root for pretty much all the way to the end (aside from BB2 where I wanted the Evil Dr. to win the whole time).

With this season, I just don't really want any of them to win at this point. They are all so dull - I wish Dave had not been evicted so soon.

....not to say I am not addicted to the show anyway.

Best moment from last night - Erika telling Ratbert to "stop picking your nose." Priceless.

Posted by: ufo4sale

this season was one of the dullest season ever in big brother history. Bring back the evil doctor.

Posted by: BeanMeScot

Watch the Reality of Reality on Bravo. The Evil Doctor is one of the most interviewed people on that show. By the way, he is half owner of Mike "Boogie's" bar.

Don't forget that the endurance is only one of 3 rounds. The winner of that round automatically moves on to Round 3. I secretely wanted Ali to slip from the house after the snow was dumped off and bash her head in to her key. But that was just wishful thinking. :p

Posted by: KRS

Oh yeah, forgot about the 3 rounds. Well, maybe Allie will get her head bashed in at some point. ;)

And what's up with the long delay before a new episode? I know that they need to stretch it, but wouldn't next week be a better chance to skip an episode what with Survivor's debut? Or are they going to skip one then too? With only 3 people left, I would have thought only one or two more episodes were needed......

Posted by: doconner

my roommate and I were watching the show, and we think that the producers didn't realize the snow was going to be so painful. All three of them were going, "OWWW.. OUCH... OWWW" as soon as they started the machine up. We wonder if they didn't intend it to be painful, and just to be cold.

Posted by: Jimbo713

We thought the same thing! Like, they didn't test the snow machine beforehand! Those poor people were being hit with snow balls - ice chunks - not snowflakes! And, you did notice that they turned the snow machine off before the network left the show - probably earlier than they intended.

And, this whole endurance style competition is a total "Survivor" rip-off. They invented this whole genre.

Agree completely. I have the live feeds and I hardly ever check in there since it is so boring. Last year, I would check the feeds on a daily basis, as there was always some intelligent and interesting conversations going on.

QUESTION:

Has anyone noticed and paid attention to Ali's "Ab class" which has been shown on a lot of shows? I would like to know the exact routine to adopt and add to my workout routine. The workout looks so intense and I like to mix up my workouts and movements so....

Anyone got any ideas?

Posted by: ufo4sale

Well if she wins americans choice you can ask her yourself next week.

Why? It's not workin' for Jun and she has Ali's one-on-one instruction. For that matter, it's not workin' for Alison either.

Posted by: nmiller855

I think the problem with the snow machine is that they probably tested it then turned it off at let the mice melt together more before re-starting it making it come out in hail balls instead of snow flakes.

There's not much that can help Jun in that area.

I was only curious...

Posted by: Maui

I still agree that Ali has no hope of winning. She's pissed off too many of the jury.

Every time they show Alison on the screen at the sequester house she essentially gets heckled by most everyone.

Where's PETA when you really need them? :D

She F'ed Nathan the hardest <eww!>, but he's all smiles when talking about her. The horny guy with bad taste is still thinking he's going to get "cuddlin' time" at the jury's resort. If he's not bitter, what are the chances the others will be able to hold onto their in-the-house anger? Then again, Dana and Michelle certainly hate her. It will be interesting to see how this all comes out.

Agreed!! Outside of Jack, there was nobody really likable. The Evil Doctor was at least likable, so you could root for him even though you knew how he was really playing the game. It's sad to say, but I was rooting for Erika because I thought she was the "hottest" gal in the house (nice eye candy). I can't stand ANY of the three stooges, and the floaters were just boring. Alison just grated on me. ANd the others were mostly gone before I could form any kind of opinion on them

Last year, just think of all the personallities, Marcellous alone was fun to watch!!

That's the problem with a show that you see only 3 hours of what goes on for 24/7 for 8 or 9 weeks. Unless you get the online feed, and watch it most of the day, it's really hard to predict what will really happen. Plus you have the jury house to consider, where you see maybe 10 minutes of what is going on for the whole week. We have no idea what those people are talking about. The only thing you can go by is what the producers want you to see, and if they want to slant it to make Ali look bad, then they will. This way, if she wins, it will be a total surprise, and whet your appitite for next year.

Re: Allison. Notice how quickly Robert said he would try and ally with Ali over Jun when asked by skeletor what he would do if Erika was kicked out. I'm still hoping for an Ali/Jun final two. Ali wins it.

Ali vs Robert

Robert gets two stooges plus Dana
Ali gets Nathan, Jack, Ericka, Jun?

Ali vs Jun
Jun will probably get three stooges plus Dana

Posted by: dthmj

In an Ali vs Robert I think Erika would vote for Robert, and probably even Jack too.

From CBS.com, you can chat with Robert (he won again)

AMERICA'S CHOICE: Live Chat with Robert, Saturday, 3PM ET/12 Noon PT

Posted by: Swirl_Junkie

I would vote for Ali in a heartbeat. She played the game the best, plain and simple. You ( and I) might not like her, but she already won in my eyes.
The Evil Dr. Will was just as unlikable, and in the end all the other players said that he played the game the best... despite his personality.
Without Alison in the house for the last few weeks, what else would keep you waching this show?
Certainly the other three would be the most boring television ever. I'd rather watch paint dry.

Apparently you missed the part of the thread title that said no live feed spoilers. Some people would prefer to watch the show to find out who wins competitions.

You might be right. The most boring television ever conceived was BB1 after they got rid of the interesting people and left only the people who were "nice". That being said, I want ANYONE but Ali to win. Even Ratbert is preferable.

Posted by: Maui

Nice doesn't seem to get you far in Big Brother land but at least the appearance of nice is needed to win when you are being voted on by those you helped evict.

It may be easy for us to say she played the best game but I doubt someone like Dana is going to give Ali any credit for it.

At this point I think I am actually pulling for Robert. I don't reallylike the guy but he is an EX that has made it this far and there is at least the hope that he can use some of the money to help his daughter have a better life. I get the feeling Ali and Jun would be selfish with the money and blow it all.

Was it technically a live feed spoiler? The way I read the message, the info was posted on the CBS web site. Not part of the live feed.

Posted by: FLbadgirl

I checked the CBS site and saw nothing about the live chat. It would be nice if everyone followed the rules for those who prefer to watch the show first.

I posted this because it was on the CBS BB site. I only mentioned it because you or someone else may have wanted to participate in the chat. After all they did need people to ask questions.

I did not mean to spoil anything.

You must be pretty young then!

Posted by: martinp13

Has the Live Chat already happened? The original "spoiler" post was just after midnight on Sat 9/13, and the Live Chat was to be "on Saturday". Did they give NO notice about that? Or is it this coming Saturday, the 20th? There is no information about it on the CBS website, that I can find.

I don't mind a spoiling post about America's Choice... I don't really see that as part of the overall game. It would be best to put the revealing information in "spoiler tags" just in case.

Yeah, I don't care about America's choice one way or the other (although it was nice to be surprised with Rob getting the phone call).

But the thread title clearly says Show Spoilers Ok. This hasn't happened in the show yet, so it must be put in spoiler tags.

Posted by: dthmj

I never invisioned that there would be a "website" spoiler... But, like others, I'm not all that concerned about stuff like America's Choice - I just don't want to know who gets HoH.

Posted by: KRS

Agreed - America's Choice has almost no bearing on the show. Still, with so little left in the show, knowing that Ratbert won the chat does spoil one thing for me - the hope that Allison would get dumped online!

I still don't see how on earth they plan on stretching the show beyond the Tuesday/Wednesday episodes.

There will probably be an episode with the final two houseguests, and then there will be the finale. That's at least two episodes after Tuesday/Wednesday right there. I suppose they might combine that into one episode, I can't remember how they did it last year.
