While not an Emmy for writing, Firefly's Serenity did win the Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series, beating Buffy's Chosen, and Enterprise's Dead Stop, The Crossing, and The Expanse.

Kudos to the ME group. I love the scene of Serenity rolling clear of the transport and going into full burn and the whole chase scene on Whitefall....

Yea, the special effects blew me away, as I've droned on about many a time. I used to get real aggravated at people who posted that the FX weren't that good. They were the best I've seen on TV.
