Smallville: Beginnings. Any info?

WB had a press release back in the summer that stated Smallville season 1 and season 2 re-runs would be airing (in order), one per Sunday, when the new season started. Looking at the schedule, and nothing of the sort is scheduled for either September 21 or September 28. anyone know of the current plans to air this?
edit to add: local affliate emailed me and stated October 5 as the "premier" for Smallville: Beginnings.
