HMO crashes my Tivo

I'm just curious. I had the home media option trial for a month and I wasn't all that impressed with it. I didn't really care about any of the things it offered anyhow except maybe the adding programs to the todo list via the web.

Anyhow my wife was trying out the mp3 playing capabilty and more often than not the tivo would just crash and reboot. I don't think my tivo has ever chashed without the HMO.

Anyone else experience crashing? Being a free trial and having my tivo crash while useing HMO doesn't make me want to pay $99 or $60 for the service.

There's been some threads about the fact that some MP3 files for some reason will cause the TiVo to reboot when they're played. The fault isn't with HMO per se (although it shouldn't cause a reboot on a bad file) -- there's something odd about the file.

FWIW - I've never seen this on either of my two Series 2 units with the Mac OSX client.

I had the reboot phenomenon when I added/published a picture directory with a lot, thousands, of pictures in jpg format. I think TiVo burbed on the directory size and rebooted.
