I have a feeling that Survivor may be preempted tonight for Hurricane coverage in my area (no inside info, just a hunch).

So someone who'se recording it, please save it for me, and then we can arrange for a transfer later.

TB, they are totally going to preempt it or the power's going to go out. I'm going to be extremely upset too when it happens! :(

I called my local CBS affiliate just now and was told CBS has already scheduled a replay of the Survivor premiere for this Sunday, Sept 21st. In my area it will be on at 8:30pm Central, but YMMV.

I posted in the happy hour hurricane thread that I'll be keeping my recording around for a bit, and I'd be happy to send a recording down south. Perhaps y'all should organize a big Survivor party, for everybody who misses it. That way we don't have to send as many tapes, and you get to have a party! :D

I'm hoping for the Sunday repeat also, but in case that doesn't pan out, I might also be very appreciative of a copy. (In my case, probably not so much the weather, but Fox moved programs around in the last couple of days, and so it got pre-empted by something that should have been lower priority...)

Man...survivor sux... I can't believe you guys watch that garbage, let alone TiVo it.

On a related note...isn't your copying of the show and distributing it to others "stealing?"

(I had to throw that in there... I really don't care, but survivor really does suck)

I'll likely hold onto mine until next Thursday, so my offer still stands. Though hopefully everybody will be able to catch the Sunday episode. (ech, who wants to watch anything on VHS anymore ;))

For the same reason I did: to see if CBS was considering cancelling the series after this year, and see why people would want it saved.

And Naipes is ANYTHING but a "troll" (a term used far too often on this forum...).

Thanks for the offer. Our CBS affiliate says they will be airing it again Sunday as well, but the women I spoke to sounded like she was rather confused.
