I have restored a 2.0 image to a new drive on my DSR6000 and am in the boot loop....from wht i understand if the tivo version is 2.0 or under that TivoMad disk has to be used. Can anyone detail out exactly what i need to do to make the image i have restored work?? Do i just run the tivomad disk now?? Or even better can anyone point me to where i can get a newer Image for the DSR6000?

Thanks you all!!!

The command you'll want to type is:

mad/edit_bootparms hdX -i

Where "X" is the position of the drive in your PC.

You can find a download of the floppy of TiVoMad here.

Unfortunately, contrary to what Hinsdale says, people report having the same problem with 2.5 too. You'd have to go to 3.1 to avoid the problem.
