Weaknees,

I'm doing as you suggested. I'm taking both A + B, and doing configuration #6 restore to the larger A drive. I will probably order in the next month or so, another 120GB hard drive and add it as a new 'B' drive.

Sound like a plan? Any pitfalls to this method?

Sounds good - you'll just need to pull your new 120 and do mfsadd when you add the next one.
