Hi.

My B drive is making a clicking noise. I'm convinced that it is going to explode at any moment, taking out half of a city block.

I'd like to simply backup the B drive and leave the A drive alone. Can I do that without touching the A drive? Can I do it by uninstalling both harddrives in my PC and simply running from the floppy or CD-ROM drive?

Yes - you can do a "dd" from the old B drive to a new one. But if you want to use the extra space on the new B drive, you'll need to put both the A and B in the PC and use "mfsadd."
