What happened to my football game?

This Sunday Night I was watching the Miami vs Buffalo game and couldn't stay up any longer so i recorded the game from Halftime on. When I woke up I see ->REC:9 Sat 10:05 and only taped 30 minutes of it.
Huh...what happened? Has this ever happened to anybody?

Problem is trying to use "tape" in a TiVo. :D

How did you set the recording?

I think the game started at 8:30 EDT and was to run for 3 hours (I watched some of the 1st quarter), so it should have recorded from 10:05 until 11:30 at least, even with no padding added.

Question - does the green "play" bar show green all the way across? Maybe the signal went out about 10:30 and it skipped recording the rest.

It also might be helpful to know what time zone you are in. :)

Of course, I am kinda new to this, and don't even know how to tell tivo to just record a block of time (say, from now till 3 hours from now without going out through the 'manual record' menu.
