Yeah, I'll be picking this one up. Very funny show, but in true FOX form, they killed it before it's time.

I've been wanting this one for a while now.

Why oh Why did it have to go away!!!!!

I'll be at Best Buy tomorrow!

How many eps were there all total? I think I saw all of them (and, while liking it, I was never really, really impressed like I wanted to be), so I probably won't be buying this unless there's an unaired ep or two.

There are nine eps on the DVD, one of which was never aired.

Darn, thought this was for the cartoon version. The live version never clicked for me.

Oh, how I miss The Tick! I still have the last show that was aired on my Tivo. The one where Arthur comes out of the superhero closet and The Tick is battling the toilet.

Ahh, such fond memories...

I agree. The cartoon was the best! That was one of the frist wishlists I made. Maybe someday. Spoooon!

Yeah, I think this show was just starting to find its footing when it was axed (typical FOX). Patrick Warburton was the perfect Tick.

It's possible that the status of the live-action rights (for this DVD) is preventing the animated series form coming to DVD. Maybe, now that this DVD is out, we'll see some movement on the animated series.

My understanding about the animated series availability is that there is some dispute with Fox Family about who owns the rights to what. Therefore, the live series had Captain Liberty and Bat Manuel, whereas the animated had American Maid and Die Fledermaus....

I've got my DVDs and am slowly savoring each episode, twice if they've got commentary, as many seem to.

SPOON!

Maybe Cartoon Network could add this to [adult swim].
