does tivo reconize the israeli network in its program guide? i'm adding a tivo unit to a dish network sat receiver that my boss has just for this one station. of course it would be nice to use the features like season pass and so forth with this tivo unit. anyone know?

I don't know what this is, but you can check all available lineups in your area at www.zap2it.com

It's the same source as TiVo's guide data.

Are you saying that if Zap 2it has the data, Tivo should also? I find it not to be the case with the baseball championships. The Tivo guide did not have the Yankee game today on ESPN while Zap2it did have the correct data.
I just posted a question about the wrong data on all sports events.

Zap2It is operated by TMS, which also provides the guide data to DirecTV for sending to DirecTiVos and to TiVo for sending to standalones. It's possible there is a delay between the time TMS updates data on their own web site and when that updated data is made available to DirecTV and TiVo. Additionally, it is also possible that there is some delay between the time DirecTV and TiVo get updated guide data and the time it is made available to us.

And, of course, with standalones, data has to be fetched and is normally only updated once a day sometime after 8pm Pacific time.
