Enterprise recorded, but history says no

So yesterday morning, I find out during my lunch break at work that my Season Pass for Enterprise may not have worked. Not the end of the world, since I know my local UPN station replays it on Saturday, but I had already planned to watch it Thursday night with the family. :(

First thing I do is bring up the recording history, and sure enough, it says "10/1 8PM Star Trek: Enterprise not recorded", with the reason being that it no longer had guide data for it.

Okay, go to What's Playing, to find out what we can watch instead, and lo and behold, Star Trek: Enterprise is at the top of the list. And the date of the recording is 10/1 at 8PM. :)

So, is my Tivo teasing me, or what?

I had the same situation last week and it appeared that this happened because the name of the show was technically changed from "Enterprise" in the guide to "Star Trek: Enterprise"

Everything still recorded just fine but when I went into the find programs to record section I noticed "Enterprise" was no longer listed. You may want to re-do your season pass using the "new" title "Star Trek Enterprise" or then again it may continue to work anyway.

Aside from T'Pol's tantalizing topless tease in ep 1 I'm not sure we're missing much anyway:D

I haven't been following the Enterprise intrigue that closely, but I think the latest was that they were back to the old series ID with the new title? So the new title with the new(now old) series ID didn't recorded but the new title with the old(now new again) series ID did?

That's confusing to even type.

Yeah, my ST:E Season Pass said no upcoming episodes, so I deleted and recreated it, and the shows were back.

I'm starting to look at Vulcans in a whole new way. ;)

[And, how are things in Dreary Erie? I grew up there... ]

NVW

Things here are probably pretty much the same way they were when you grew up, which is probably why you left in the first place LOL.

We've already had our first snow of the season on 10/1, nothing appreciable mind you, but it had to be brushed off the cars wednesday night.

The biggest news is of course that whole bizarre bank robbery/murder/exploding pizza delivery guy thing that took place last month. Not to worry though, Erie's finest AND the Federales are both on it! LOL

If when signing up for Star Trek: Enterprise you did not delete your original Enterprise Season Pass, then you would still record the show when the IDs changed back keeping the new name.
