I have a SA TIVO with DirecTV. I like TIVO's channel banners better than DirecTV's, so I don't see DirecTV's banner at all.

because of this, I don't know if I have a message from DirecTV unless I use my DirecTV remote's INFO button.

I would love it if TIVO could somehow detect a new message from DirecTV and display a message alerting me.

I know I could choose the "clear TIVO banner quickly" option, but I really like TIVO's better.
