I'd be psyched if I could set the qualifying period for "recently recording". It would really help me manage with the last bit of watching all episodes of a favorite show.

Let me be clear -> I was an early buyer and I've always highly recommended Tivo for anyone who likes TV - but I'd be psyched if...

It would also be nice if when I invariably leave something off this compose page [prompt mode] and submit the form that hitting back from the resulting error page would somehow save my typing! Doh!

If you're talking about the 28-day rule, I'm all in favor of letting it be tweakable. After all, I wouldn't mind saving two or more years of history... giving up a GB or something for an insanely huge history sounds fine by me. (Actually, depending on how you put this info on disk, you could probably get by with much less... but I'm being conservative.) But then you'd need to change season passes, for instance, to allow "First Run", "FR+Repeats", "Unviewed", "All".
